  5. Hey Carol - As a "rookie" in this fight with cancer, I have also got many questions, but I can promise you this, not only do you have a vast amount of knowledge within this site; But, asking us to hold you and yours up in PRAYER, well, let me tell you this, you have now jumped into "Daniel and his Lion's Den" for the prayer warriors to become engaged! 6. JWH - I am a Cancer "rookie" with Stage 2 non-small cell adenocarcinoma, so all of this is "new" territory for me. Based on that information, I am sitting here listening to all of the info like a "sponge", and trying to retain as much as I can. But I can honestly say, and I do firmly believe that you have joined the finest forum on this subject; additionally, you have already spoken to (via writing) to two of the most knowledgeable and caring individuals on this subject that there are, but I also want you to know that in the short period that I have been a member of this "family", you will find many, many, many more members that will be contributing to your new "bump in the road" and WE are all cheering for each other to have a positive testimonial when it is all said and done. Lastly always be positive and faithful in your healing process. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

Susan - You are very special as far as I'm concerned, along with Lauren & Tom because you three were the first ones to respond to me when I first put my health issues on the forum, for all of these strangers (lol) to know. Please allow me one more minute to THANK ALL OF YOU THAT ARE MEMBERS OF THE LUNGEVITY FAMILY! Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
  9. Hey Mally! Know that we are all on our knees praying for your GREAT Report! However, I do have a question, "what are you going to do with all of that free time after you get your Great Report? I am really, really, really HAPPY FOR YOU! Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
  10. Just wanted to thank all for this valuable information regarding what I may expect during my treatment phase, as I began my 3D Radiation on my right lung yesterday and I am now receiving my first chemo treatment (Paclitaxel, Carboplatin) this morning. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks, Dave for the update. I know that you have probably had many folks tell you that you have been through tougher things than this, the problem with that is I was 18, 19, and 20 years old when I was going through it! But now I am 69 years old and I am wondering where all of that "get up and go", "got up and went!" Thanks again for the update and take real good care of yourself. 12. Hey Dave! Thank you so much for the update, it is really important to me as a Cancer rookie; but also because you are a "brother in arms". Additionally, I will be starting my chemo/radiation therapy shortly. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
  13. Thank you Lauren, I sincerely appreciate you quick response. If you will remember my radiologist wanted to treat my lung cancer using the IMRT technique, however my insurance provider denied his request twice, so I am now awaiting the new radiation schedule utilizing the 3D technique. I will keep you posted. Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
