  1. ChestHurts: I read your posts and it was like seeing me in a mirror image. For 3 years I have had the same pain as you, have had two CT scans, multiple Xray's and the same diagnosis of chostochondritis. Also, they said my posture is very poor and I have scoliosis. I also have the same pains in my gallbladder area, and underneath my shoulder blade. So, I have to believe its not lung cancer, although it scares me to death b/c I smoked for 10 years. I am also 31 years old, and have fibromyalgia symptoms so I think all of these things are inter-related. Most likely, in another 2-3 years I will have another CT scan to put my mind at ease, but for right now, I have to trust my doctor and the hospitals who did the tests that I do not have it. I feel your pain, b/c I have had the exact same thing. So don't worry about it now, take some time off and enjoy yourself, OK? We are in the same boat!

    Too much pain

Carleen, Like KatieB said, everyone has written what I would say, or want to say. I just want you to know you are in my prayers daily, and also for the life growing inside you. Jesus will be there and is there when you don't think there is any way possible that He can. He is right beside you. Love, Wendy
  3. Carleen, I am so sorry. I can't write b/c tears are flowing. You are so loved, you were so loved, and you will always be loved by him. He is there with you. God won't ever separate you. Love, Wendy
  4. Hey, Have you tried Reliv products? I don't have lung cancer, but I started using them to boost my immune system, and generally feel better, (my mother recommended it to me) and my skin feels so good and so clear, and totally soft. She has been on it for several months, and it has totally changed her. TOTALLY. She looks amazing!! It's worth a try. I use the Reliv Classic, Fiberstore, and Energiser all together. It is an all natural vitamins, antioxidants, and herbs for health. It comes in a powder form. GREAT GREAT STUFF. You can go to the website or find it cheaper on Ebay. Just a thought for you! But I can tell a difference in my skin!
  5. I don't know of any radon in the area, but I am from Nebraska. I live in SC now! I am from central NE, Kearney and Grand Island areas. So sorry to see your dad's diagnosis. If you need someone to talk to, I am here! Wendy
  6. Andrea, your post is hilarious!!! You remind me of me. Both parents had cancer at the same time, and went through grueling treatments for a year. It was so mentally and emotionally challenging to me, I am now consumed with the "C" word. (especially since I am already a stark raving hypochondriac)! I too think I have had every cancer there is. Breast, Lung, Colon, Gallbladder, Bone, Brain, Liver, Ovarian, Uterine, etc. My husband teases me. If I stub my toe, or something hurts, or whatever, he makes up a name of a cancer. Like, Toe cancer, or Cancer of the Hair Follicle Shaft, or Cancer of the Eyelash. He takes my mind off it, and helps me realize I am being really silly. But, like all of you, I have a keen sense of something off or akilter, and if I ever do get cancer, I will know before I even go to the doctor.
  7. Carleen, So glad you are feeling better, and you and Keith had a good day! Baseball and beer help take the blues away!!! The last time Jeff (DH) and I did IVF, we went to New Jersey, but stayed in MD with some family, and we were able to take in an Orioles game down at Camden Yards. It was awesome and it took my mind of my bloated, emotional fat self!!! I am praying for you guys. God does amazing things every day!!!!! Its not the number of breaths you take, but the number of moments that take your breath away!!! Love, Wendy
  8. Hey Lisa: I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I live in the Charlotte area. If you need someone to talk to, give me a call. I would love to talk to you! I am so sorry of your loss, it must be the most difficult thing to lose your best friend and soul mate. Charlotte can be a tough place to be in, but it does grow on you! You just have to meet the right people!!!! Are you at Presby or CMC? I have been to CMC for numerous infertility treatments and they have a great staff!!!!! Anyway, let me know if you want to chat! Wendy
  9. Sandy, I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family. He is in a good place with a lot of people laughing all the time!
  10. Carleen: You may want to try these websites: www.inciid.org Go to the tab for "From The Heart Program" It is a grant program for a free IVF cycle. Also, google Cooper IVF Center, and they have a shared donor egg program. I have done that, and costs were very limited. Also, just to touch on adoption, if you did a private adoption, they don't look at health issues like cancer. We have started on that process too, and its a lot different than an agency adoption. Of course, when you feel better. I re-iterate what was said before, anybody who has been through what you are going through, IS AMAZING, even though you don't feel like it. And coming off hormones makes it 200x worse. Take care of you too. You and Keith are in my prayers daily.
  11. Carleen, I don't know what to say. I am so sorry. I know the loss of IVF, I know it very well, but coupled with everything else you are going through, no, I cannot imagine, and there are no words sufficient enough. I know there is a plan for you and Keith, and whatever it is, God will be right beside you. He loves you both so much and will never forsake you, EVER. When you think He is not there, He is ALWAYS. You and Keith are so loved. I am so sorry. Wendy
  12. Thank you Sher, you are so sweet. You are so pretty too! I am so sorry to see your best friend passed away!

Carleen: Congratulations on 3 years! That is great! I will be praying for 30 more for you and Keith! Also, those little embryos are fighters. They will hold on, and all it takes is one!!!! I will say a prayer for ya this afternoon! I know how stressful IVF is, its crazy. Just don't think about it for two weeks, and don't use the evil little pee sticks. They will drive you crazy!!! Heres to Carleen, Keith, and ????
  14. Just a quick update! I got my CT Scan results back and they are 100% clear. I am really happy about that. Its time to put this to rest.
