  1. Have been hung up with blood transfusion, lung infections, chemo ceased working, start of radiation, etc. Just beginning to feel like my old self. Read my profile where I documented the last months sinde December. Take care, love and hugs, PATTY G p/s. WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW YOU WERE IN MY THOUGHTS AND I SAID A NOVENA FOR ALL OF YOU FOR CHRISTMAS.
  2. Dear WELTHY, KELLY AND LILLY: Your answers are most helpful. I'm caught up in Christmas right now. Still have to finish cards. Even if they go out late, it's OKAY. People are just happy to hear from you. I didn't realize the GAMMA KNIFE pertains only to Brain Cancer. There is a University in California called Lo Melinda, where they make a mold of the area (any area of the body with cancer) and shoot protons into it for 45 days straight - 15 minutes a day. Most people are cured. They have a 95% success rate. Hugs, Patty [/code]
  3. Thanks, PattyB I'll check it out. Do you root for the Cleveland Indians? Hugs, Patty
  4. Hi Connie: Thank you for your answer. Is the gamma knife like shooting PROTONS into the source? How have ya been? I'm feeling stronger every day. Am caught up in Christmas at the moment. I'm now wrapping any gifts for the kids -- just purchased JUMBO BAGS and smaller bags. What a great invention. Did it, with An -drew's help, in a couple of hours. Now am working on cards. We send out over 100. Did a Message Letter this year. Much easier to print and fold and insert. My clavical is almost healed. Just a twinge once in a while. Thank you, JESUS. Take care and have a wonderful holiday. Hugs, PattyG
  5. Debi! Hi! I missed you! Glad you're here again. What are BRAIN METS? Hugs, Patty
  6. What is the Gamma Knife? What is it supposed to be successful on? Does if have to be a specialized cancer? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks. Lots of hugs. Patty G.
  7. Contratulatins on your husband's good test results. Last week I said a NOVENA for all of you on this website. The Infant Jesus is very POWERFUL. Hugs, PattyG
  8. Dear Rochelle: So sorry to hear of your UNTIMELY loss. I am praying for you and the Jillinator, that Jesus will comfort you and bring you solace in your grief. Hugs, Patty
  9. Dear Sloanie: Your mom just needs a pill for the nausea. When I get this from the chemo, I take my nausea pill, sometimes it comes back the next day, sometimes not. Good luck to you and her God Bless, PattyG
  10. Hi Katie B: My broken clavical is on the mend. At least I'm able to type and communicate. One funny thing happened through this catastrophe! The pain was soooo bad in the beginning. My husand said one night, I was calling out, MAMMA, MAMMA! (Forgeting when a lady is in pain, she sometimes calls out for her mother.) Well, he ran around to my side of the bed, shook me and said, DON'T GO!!! DON'T GO!!! (He thought I was seeing my mother and leaving this world!!!) and I don't remember a thing. Slept through it. We still laugh about it. Bye for now. Hugs, Patty
  11. Geri: How wonderful for you. CONTRATULATIONS!!! Your smiling attitude and forgiving nature must really help get you through. What an inspiration. Hugs, PattyG
  12. Sharon: I will be praying for him. He has YOUTH ON HIS SIDE. God bless, Hugs, Patty
  13. I'm a survivor from not only LUNG CANCER, but a BROKEN CLAVACAL. Fell in my computer room right after I sent out messages to this board. I'm getting better now. Had to postpone my CHEMO last week as I had a lung infection. Much better now. Thank you Jesus. God is good and with all the wonderful prayer chains,I HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY NEW CANCEROUS CELLS. Yippee!!! Hugs and love from Patty
  14. Dear Becky, Sometimes people just put their BIG FOOT in their size 2 mouth and say the stupidist things. I don't think she meant to harm you - just doesn't think!!! What a Banana Head!!! I'm so sorry you went thru so much hurt. Hugs, Patty
  15. For: Leela, KatyB, Don M, Connie B, Rich, Rachel, Alexon: Leela: Thanks for your loving support and good sense. Still praying for your Mom. KatyB: Your encouragement and pure love is so very good. Don M. You are still in my prayers, asking God to shrink that little bugger!!! Connie B: The extra vibes felt soooo good. Your support is fabulous. Rich: Your last scan was fabulous!! Congrats! Thanks for your encouragement too! Rachel: Your kind support, so gentle and welcome. Alexon: Becky, 4 kids are wonderful.
