Muriel Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 BARTELME PATRICIA M. "PATTI" BARTELME, (nee Del Greco) age 59, of Parma Heights; passed away on June 7, 2011. Beloved wife of Joseph; loving mother of Nicholas; cherished daughter of Concetta and the late John Del Greco; dear sister of Rosemarie (Thomas) Wallen and Frank (Joanne) Del Greco; sister-in-law and aunt to six nieces and nephews. She treasured the love and support of many loyal friends. Patti served at the Brecksville VA Hospital for 22 years. She started working on the wards and ended her career as the secretary to the Chief of the Fiscal Service. Patti was a long-term board member of the Ridge-wood YMCA Swim Team and 2007 recipient of the Y's Volunteer-of-the-Year Triangle Award. She was also an active supporter of the Valley Forge High School Swim Team. In 2010, Patti chaired and organized a walk-a-thon at the Cleveland Zoo, the first in the Cleveland area, which raised $20,000 for the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the "Nicholas Bartelme College Trust Fund" at Dollar Bank, and can be mailed to P.O. Box 29065, Parma OH 44129. Prayers at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10 am., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 14865 East Bagley Rd., Middleburg Hts., OH at 10:45 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
