wwroam
I have now been in remission for 18 weeks. Before my next oncologists appointment I have a CT scan and if all is well I believe that he will make plans to have my Powerport removed. I am not bothered by it nor the requirement for flushing at 6 week intervals. After my Folfox chemo for colon cancer was completed in Jan 2008 , it remained for 2 years. My question is what is usual for scans etc after chemo-radiation is complete.
Tom Galli
Wwroam, Glad you are finished treatment. My experience is a CT scan is normally used after treatment. But be mindful, there is nothing normal about lung cancer. Hope your scan yields NED results. Stay the course. Tom
