Hello My Dear Friends I just posted last week about my 4th anniversary...but to tell you the truth I was holding my breath...because it was scan time and had been a year since my last CT....I did bloods on Mon and that was fine...and then CT/SCAN on Tuesday....When the receptionist asks who do I want the report to go to...I alway's include my GP cause he calls me as soon as he gets the report because he know's I am nutso when it comes to scan's.... Well he called on Friday....NED !!!!!!!!!....Praise God!!! I go to the Surgeon tomorrow and then 'Onc' on Thursday....for my checkup and results but I already know the results....but I won't tell them... I think the Surgeon will graduate me to yearly and I am already yearly with the 'Onc'... So that's the good word for this weekend....good news for me ...is good news for all of us....Just hang in and wait for the 'brass ring'....It's coming '-) love and hugs to all....God Bless and Stay well nonni

Hi Patti Congrat's on 2 yrs and yes it is something to celebrate....and I think the part to 'in yo face' is the best for the doctor....Just love it Here's to many many more Pat....Doctors have been soooo wrong so many times...Just look at the board and see how many people are here for years and still going strong after 'oh yes...sorry ...3 months at the most"....BS!!!!! hugs...nonni

Ican tell you that after my lung sugery back in 2004....I developed a really bad dry cough that would just not go away....I spoke to my surgeon and he said that is absolutely normal after lung surgery.....Well the GP thought I should look into it furthur and ordered a Pet Scan....the Pet showed normal and the cough finally went away.... I am 4 years out of surgery and still cough...mostly at night which I attributeSo to my sinuses....hope so anyway....So it really wouldn't hurt to look into it...but I'm quite sure many people develop a cough after surgery....good luck and God Bless hugs...nonni..

Just wanted to let you know that this past Sunday...Sept 14...marked FOUR YEARS NED Praise God!!!!!!!!!...Can't believe 4 years has passed already but then again it seems like so soooo long ago....That being said...my good news is good news for all of us...filled with hope and knowing that this 'sucka' can be beat....So hang in....stay tuff and God Bless all of us. Hi Connie and my dear friends Sorry I haven't been on line lately....my pc took a sabatical ....it's been in the shop being completed restored....Anyway ..I'm back now and thanks for thinking about me Connie... I just got my pc back today and see where I am right away....I was going to post today in 'good news' cause this past Sunday marked FOUR YEARS NED....Praise God...I'll post there anyway... Oh wow I am so happy I tuned in today to see Kasey here...I sure have missed you girl... Hi there....in answer to your questions...I had a RLL in sept 04 and NOT Vats...I live on the second floor and I had no problem going up and down the steps on my 2nd day home....The doctor urged me to take steps and walk walk walk and NOT to lay in bed....I took it easy but was no probem at all.... In answer to your second question....I don't think you will have a problem sitting at your pc after a couple day's as long as you are not too uncomfortable...I chucked the pain pills after a couple day's ..they were making me nauseous....yuk...tylenol worked just as well... Good luck on your surgery and God be with you and HE will... hugs...nonni

HiMarianne.....I don't know a thing about a port..but I sure am happy that the pain stopped...I would imagine sure is better than being stabbed all the time...ouch!! take care..nonni

Hey Girlfriend... I'm sorry you are feeling so achey....but Con...I swear...I felt like that was me writing your letter...I have EXACTLY the same symptoms and as you know...I never had Chemo....When I get up in the morning ...I have to shuffle to the bathroom...my feet feel numb and I am very stiff...BUT..it only last a few minutes and then I'm OK after I start moving...but let me sit in front of the computer for more than a half hour...and it will be the same feeling as I get up in the morning....'Go 'figger'... Hope you are feeling better soon...and about time for our time on the phone...will call you soon... hugs...nonni
