Judy and Randy that all is making my mouth water guess I should get busy cooking lol Oh except the Lamb. I had lamb stew once that my mother and law made and it was disgusting. To me it was like I was eating a bowl of mud that is the flavor I thought it had lol. Of course I did not tell her I snuck it to my husband lol

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates but boy oh boy how busy life has been. Moms biopsies came back negative (but little to my knowledge did I know they werent even checking for cancer). Still waiting for MRI results. Grandmas tests came back good. I see neurosurgeon on Jan. 11th for possible surgery. I dont know how I can wait that long considering my symptoms are intensifying which actually caused me to come home from work today.

To me it sounds about right. Blood clots can be caused by many different things. They may or may not investigate what could of caused it i.e. recent surgery, recent travel, recent trauma many things. I am assuming he is on something like Lovenox or Coumadin now and will be having blood draws regularly to check his PT/INR? Feel free to chime in any one else I am sure I have missed something

Judy you are to darn smart Many increases and changes in medication before you find what works for you. What works for you today or tomorrow might not be what works for you in a year. So hang in there. Yes each Dr is so different with there protocols. I am glad you were able to have your treatment though that is fantastic. Merry Christmas! Heidi

Hey there. Not exactly sure on this answer however at work I do notice that patients who dont take it first thing in the am it usually has there bp a little high. So I would say about three to four hours? I could be totallly wrong that is just what I notiice. Good luck

Fabuous news!

Good afternoon all. Thought I would pop in on my lunch hour. I have learned a valuable lesson I want to tell everyone about. First let me say we are finally back up in 40 degree weather no more freezing temps during the day at least. Well Yesterday I baked with my dad and was in a huge deal of pain when I got home. I took a hot bath and went directly to the heating pad. I though I woud sleep with it on low and surely I will wake up if it gets to hot. Ummmm yeah no I did not. So sometime in the middle of the night I rolled over on to my stomach and "my girls, both of them" are burnt Not bad but just enough to be uncomfortable next time I will listen to my mamma when she says dont fall asleep with that on lol Anyways hope yall have a great day

My prayers are with Rose today. Hope your not taking her to the hospital on that bike of yours she might freeze Hope all goes well today. It is still really cold here today as well it was 13 this morning when we woke up and the high today will be around 32. Just horrible cold weather. Anyways, hope everyone has a great day!
