Hello everybody I just like to give update on my husband. He has finished 4 rounds of chemo and I must say he handled it preety well except for being very tired and a couple times dehydrated but all and all he is fine. Radation made him tired also. He starts brain rad in 2 weeks for precaution. End of October he gets his cats can to see if all treatments worked. I'm praying that it did. I wish he didn't get small cell but it is what it is.I will be going back to work this coming week been off for 4 months and I'm hoping I don't worry to much and he keeps drinking water and eating right.between my cancer from last Dec and his it has taken a toll on me but I'm Ned and hopefully he will be too! Great news Dave! I noticed u are from Florida do you go to Gainesville VA? That is were my husband go for our treatments.any way so happy for you .Michele

Peg I'm so sorry u had a rough weekend with his family. But u did the right thing! I pray his scan shows good results.I like to give u my phone number in private somehow so if u ever need to talk or anything just let me know. Hopefully u guys will have a peaceful weekend coming up. Peg That is great that u both finally got some sleep.I hope his cycle of chem goes smoothly.rogers got delayed for week. Today is our anniversary( 28) and I made a roast instead of going out.what state do u guys live in. If I can ask? Rogers doctor just ordered meralax and a stool softener then after he ordered it which we didn't get yet( mail ) he went phew. I don't know if I mentioned but my brother is dying I guess of stage 4 non small cell Aden he just told us don't get constipated its very painful rocks phew! I worry on all ends for everybody. Prayers michele

Hi Peg today is better than sat Sunday spent in hospital due to fever .wed starts chemo .what does the cough mean? ; my husband starting to have cough .not one of his doctors called to explain MRI or pets can I had to go and pick up report.really upset about that. Good luck today hope they relieve his pain prayers your way. Michele

Sherri that's great your MRI was clean same as my husbands. He starts this coming week 2 nd cycle chemo and first round of rad .last night and all day today we spent time in hospital because he started a fever.he was doing so good before that. He is all better now will see how round 2 does. Enjoy your haircut! Best wishes Michele

Susan I didn't know you had recurrence til now. We had surgery around the same time u were one month ahead of me. So glad to hear you are NED now.. God bless! Happy for you! Michele

Hi Sherry Z: my husband has limited stage also. Going threw chemo we found the most important thing is drink lots and lots of water .it is very easy to get dehydrated. Also get magnesium vitamins . eat well even if your not hungry.rest when u are tired. Good luck on your journey and keep us posted. Michele

Peg did they give you any oiments like lidacane or nitrogylcerine.warm baths.? Or anything.oh I feel bad for both of you. Try to get some rest too talk soon

Peg a big hugs and prayers for you and Lee! Today.hopefully there will be no more pain after this surgery.I was able to imagine his face with no pain after reading your note and it was beautiful! Let me know how he is later OK?! Doctors hmmm u know they never even called or returned calls on his results. I went myself to pick up his results on MRI .and what I could read he is clean!!! Monday was pets scan and I hope they call on that.yes have Lee write a note that he said not to call family.that's what my husband did.; then they can't give u a harder time blame game. Thank you Jeffrey yes we have put in a claim thru american legion for lung cancer. We went to the american legion. My husband is already 100% but not 10 years in there records which they paid back pay since 2002 so I don't know how they can say not ten years. In order to collect dic god forbid if something happens it has to be 10 year 100% or from military related. And lung cancer is in the list.he is on the registry for agent orange already. Understand? If no dic I won't be able to pay bills etc. But he deserve it wounded 3 times fought for us so we can be free.thank you for listening. I pray I don't even have to go that route

Tom ; were you in Vietnam? The reason why I'm asking is because lung cancer is on the list of agent orangewe filed a claim with veterans adminstration on my husband. He has diabetes from agent orange. I know they are going to say his is from smoking even though it is on the list. I was just wondering if u were in Vietnam thank you..
