  1. Hello! An update and question.. Husband ended up in hospital for deep vein trombosis in his left leg. I know it is normal for malignant diseases, but does anyone has experience with it? Ty
  2. I think my husband coughed up a piece of his tumor.. Poslano sa mog D2005 koristeći Tapatalk
  3. He does whole brain radiation, but, Im guessing that they give him higher dose on location of metastases, which are beyond his ears, which is near his vocal cordes. He didnt lost his voice, it is just different Poslano sa mog D2005 koristeći Tapatalk
  4. Hi Tom, There were no news, and I was busy No, he doesnt have difficulty with speech. He is loosing his voice, like that he spent a night singing.. Ty Poslano sa mog D2005 koristeći Tapatalk
  5. Has anyone experienced loosing voice after round of whole brain radiation? Ty Poslano sa mog D2005 koristeći Tapatalk
  6. An update.. Husband finished last round of chemo. But, they found him 2 lessions on brain, size 1cm. Now, we are waiting for decision if he will receive whole brain radiation or/and gamma knife procedure on both lessions. They found them on CT scan, he cant get a MRI, because he has metal in him. Who knows are they the only ones.. Is brain radiation effective as gamma knife? I hate this disease..
  7. Tom, it's ok, no problem I always tought you have the best health system in world, and that doctors treat patients as human beeings That us what I do, fight, ask questuons, requesting, altought, they dont like that. Doctors think they are gods, and act like that. People here dont like to talk about diseases, but if anybody asks, I offer help in any way I can. Nodules in his lungs were present from the start and have not been changed.
  8. Hello! Here is an update about my husband. Yesterday came back his CT scan, which shows regresion from 16x8x14cm to 5x6x11cm. Today start with 5th cycle of chemo and he must do the PCI after all chemo cycles. Honestly, I am not satisfied. By his condition after every chemo, I expected that it will almost all be gone.. Anyway, few nodes below 1cm in his lungs didn't go away. Does it mean they became resistant to chemo? Can they be scar tissue? Inflamation? Anything else? The nodes on his adrenal gland is not metastase, now it is confirmed.
  9. Tom, Believe or not, his immune system is exellent. His doctor is everytime surprised about his blood tests. He is just a bit anemic all the time. Bronchitis is my fault, I have it all my life, and it activated a month ago, right when he get coughs.. I have a question. Since his diagnose is an extensive SCLC, is a protocol to radiate his chest as well? I mean, the tumor itself. I know that doctor expects to all be gone from his bronchi, but what if it doesn't? If it is just under control? I'd like to know the protocol, since its the same all over the world.. Ty
  10. An update His cough is from bronchitis. MD sugested inhalations. Tumor markers went way down. We are waiting for end of this month to do a CT and the Team of doctors to decide whether he'll receive more chemo cycles and prevent brain radiation (for which I'll fight for)
  11. Tom, it really is beautiful country! Its true.. It is so warm rigth now that we can swim, here on south coast, where Split is Experience is what I need His tumor was 13x8x16cm in his both main bronci and limph node 6x10cm between his heart and left lung. But it only caused him hard to swallow food and breath, not cough. Cough caught him a month ago, and his MD told him to get used to it. But it is irritating and lasts during daytime. Since it is on his bronchi, I think its dying can be irritating enaugh to cause coughing. But will certanly will ask his doctor about it tomorrow
  12. No, he doesnt. Just chemo. MD doesnt plan to radiate his chest because it is diagnosed as extensive stage, and she is expecting it will all be gone. About his caugh. Since tumor is regressing, is it posible that he is caughing because of healing parts where tumor used to be? Greetings from extra sunny Split!
  13. Dear Tom, Don't worry, I understoood the analogy. Used to be an athletic and I' m watching lots of american movies
  14. Sorry His tumor is in his bronchi, has few metastases in his lungs and possible (not confirmed) metastase on his adrenal gland. Also, only one limph node (between his hearth and left lung) is enlarged. That was first diagnose Poslano sa mog D2005 koristeći Tapatalk
