  1. janet- im sure as with any tumor if it gets beyond a cetain size problems and symptoms will begin . i think that met to the adrenal is very common. i hear about it and read about it all the time and my lc family has left adrenal met. no symptoms that i ever see or hear of and the doctors never even mention it , i just see it mentioned in the rad reports but nothing becomes of it

Bo- I think that yur choice is a good 1 . cc says that the odds of alimta and tarceva working are pretty slim - about 9 % and tahts for a specific target group which isnt a good fit 4 U.. yur other choices should do as good or better than that for U and the docs no more about thoz drugs ansd there side effects which helps make it a safer approach for U. good luck
  3. we were disapointed to be told by both oncologists that the lungs can only be radiated to a very limited degree. too much area exposed to radiation and the treatment can worsen instrad of help the lungs by destroying to much healthy tissue.
  4. mainly in base of lungs. is this a common nsclc development and is it considered a late stage symptom. TY
  5. does anybody know how this condition can be permantly fixed. I was told that it is do to scarring and therefor stretching will only temporarly fix it. and there is no permanent fix . is this true.
