I had an idea, in conjunction with this forum …..would anyone be interested in forming a group of people that sent messages to each other daily via email? I currently belong to a COPD group that breaks their members into email groups that report daily to eachother on what exercise they’ve done for the day. Since exercise is foremost in treatment for COPD these groups act as support and inspiration. They also act as information source from life experiences for eachother. If some people need to post more personal, daily messages and questions on regular bases this would be a solution (it’s similar to a chat room without the frustration of many people talking at the same time). Anyone interested? Groups could be formed by the stages of cancer being treated, or by people interested in talking to others daily….? Bruce

Are there any dietary restrictions I should know about before beginning chemo therapy? I'm scheduled to begin 4-6 ccyles of carboplatin and taxol as adjuvant chemo following a wedge-resection of a adno carcinoma tumor 3 weeks ago. Thanks......Bruce

Afternoon everyone, As most I'm concerned and scared about what is next in my future health. I had a wedge resection two weeks ago. Pathology confirmed the tumor removed (2.2 cm) was adno carcinoma, 1b and I was tyold this is a very aggressive form? March 6th I'm scheduled begin chemotherapy.I was told I would get 4 cycles of carboplatin and taxol. What should I expect as a normal reaction to the treatment. How effective is it? I'm also scheduled for a CTscan in August. Thanks for any information Bruce
