[My Thoracic Surgeon Comes to Dinner]

You are blessed to have this surgeon in your life. He sounds amazing! I feel blessed to have the man who did my VATS surgery at M D Anderson. On a day when appointments were doubled up due to an ice storm abating in Houston, he answered all my questions and at my request drew me a picture of what he was describing. He was focused, friendly, amazing!

In so many ways, cancer tests, treatments are more difficult for our family and friends. Bless you for your prayers for this couple. I add my prayers.

[Bill & Heather's Story (Part 1)]

I was told after my surgery February 16, 2018 that I had stage 3aT2N2 adenocarcinoma. The top right lobe was removed, along with 12 lymph lobes- 4 being cancerous. If a doctor told me anything about my possibility of living 5 years, I would have been so angry. You both have a great, positive outlook. I am glad your wife is doing well. You have been a great support.
