The Poem I'm Free is the one I selected for the memorial cards for my hubby who passed away March 19, 2004. It is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read. My Nicky was only 47 when he died from this horrible disease and life will never be the same. However, I am so thankful for the almost 25 years we had together and will treausure those memories the rest of my life. It just hurts too much right now to think about them too much.[color=darkblue][/color]

I so appreciated all of the responses to my email concerning the death of my husband. I call him "My Nicky." He had the most beautiful smile and love of life and family. It is so hard at times to believe he is really gone from my life, but he will forever be in my heart. Thanks again for all of the kind words.

Hello, My name is Yvonne and I live in Virginia. My wonderful husband of 22 years passed away on March 19th. He had NSC Lung cancer with metastisis to the spine. He was paralyzed from the neck down in Dec, was operated on and was learning to walk again when it came back with a vengence. It has been like a horrible nightmare that you know you have to wake up from but unfortunately that's not the case. Thank goodness for family, wonderful neighbors and friends.
