  1. Yay Tomm. This was my first 6 month wait as well. We are blazing trails!
  2. Tom-we ended Durva about the same time. I’m thrilled to report that I am still NED!!! I’m sure you will do well too! michelle-how was yours?
  3. Kelvin. I never felt better or worse through treatment, it was always tired about 4 days after then for a few days. Then I would feel normal until the next infusion. Still waiting on test results tomorrow, which I’m nervous about because I always get them 2 days after. It’s been a week and nothing in my inbox.
  4. Another CT tomorrow to see if all is still good. 2 1/2 years since last Imfinzi. hey Jersey girls, great to see you both still going strong. We are a tough breed. hugs and kisses 😘
  5. Happy New Year to all as well. I’ve just been living and working and was football Grammy for a while there, not the pros my grandson. Getting ready to start spring practice, which starts February here in the south. No news good or bad health wise. 3 years since diagnosis, almost 2 years finished with treatment. Now on the 6 month schedule for scans, finally. Still have my port, scared to tempt fate by taking it out. I don’t know how I’ll get over that fear. And I get to see all the great ladies at the doc’s office every 2 months for flushes. Michelle sorry about your mom. Hugs and kisses to all!!
  6. Just wanted to say hi to all. Michelle I hope your family got through the storms ok. I’m just living life. Hope everyone is doing well.
  7. Exactly one year ago I had my 26th and last Imfinzi infusion. So far so good!!
  8. I agree with LexieCat. I was told not to take anything except a multivitamin and if anything else to get oncologist approval first.

  10. Taking the family out to dinner to celebrate Tom.
  11. Michelle I’m doing the retail therapy happy dance today
  12. PET SCAN-impression - no hyper metabolic activity in neck , chest, abdomen or pelvis nor skeletal. What does this note mean-The region of pulmonary consolidation upper right lobe minimal SUV of 2.0. This is the location of the original tumor. So I guess it’s not dead? It’s confusing that it says both. It also doesn’t give a measurement
  13. Hey Roseann. I’ve had nodules mentioned on a scan, not on the next and back on the 3rd. Not sure how they pick and choose what’s mentioned. I think they should mention every little thing. Thanks for the vibes. Still waiting....
  14. No results yet. The waiting is the hardest part..
  15. Ok so I’m freaking out. I fought for a PET scan and won, now it’s scanxiety for tomorrow and almost sorry for the win. This is 6 months after treatment was completed and I’m not ready for a bad result. The what if game is playing in my head.
  16. Roseann-I was told you stage the same or higher you can never go backwards but maybe all the docs do their own thing. Have a good night
  17. Silly cat-I had a bone scan last month which was 4 months after I finished the Durva. They saw nothing new or anything other than 2 prior rib fractures and 2 degenerative disks. I lied to get it because I never had one and with the old age aches and pains I wanted to be sure nothing was brewing. I’m going for a PET on the 4th. Have you had one since you finished?
  18. Silly at-I still have my port. I almost feel like if I take it out I’m tempting fate-as soon as it’s gone I will need it. I’m going to wait a while.
  19. Hey Roseann. Welcome to the finish line!!! I sometimes think my onc isn’t understanding what I’m saying either. I sometimes go home and call, leave a msg, the nurse calls me back and then she translates to the onc. Then she gets what I’m saying! I don’t know why that works. Let us know how those scans come out. Enjoy your medical freedom!
  20. Thanks all for your kind thoughts
  21. Michelle-it was a great surprise
  22. I won the appeal!!! Just got a call from the nurse case manager for the insurance company. PET approved! She’s calling the oncologist to get it scheduled. I already left them a message as well.
