  1. Fantastic Muriel! I am gonna get on the roof of that bus and party with you also!!! Carol
  2. Wishing you the best when you go into surgery and as you begin recovery. Once I got home I would take the Alleve over the counter pain pills because the prescription pain pills made me loopy and constipated. The trick was to learn to take them before the pain set in and you are okay. Be patient with yourself because each day does get better. Prayers, Carol

  6. Great to hear that the tumor has not spread beyond your lung. I had an upper right lobectomy in July, 2005. I did have an epidural and catheter. I did not have the VATS but the open surgery. After you get home they will give you pain medication. I stopped taking the prescription medication made me feel dopey and kept me constipated. I took ALLEVE instead. I learned to take the pain pills BEFORE the pain set in. It worked for me. Wishing you the best! Carol
  7. It was five years ago today that I got the results of my biopsy and was told that I had lung cancer. I don't know how I would have or could have made it from that day through the days of anxiety, full blown fear, chemo, radiation, surgery, recovery and worry if I did not have the support of the wonderful people that I have met on this website. May God Bless each and every one of you and I am praying that this new year brings us a cure for this awful disease. Carol
