Sorry to hear that you have a nodule to be concerned about. I don't know if you remember but I had a nodule that did not light up on my first PET but did a few months later on my second PET. My surgeon would not do surgery without knowing for sure what it was. I had to have a biopsy on it and it turned out to be scar tissue. Just want to let you know not to worry to much because we have nodules that are not at all cancer related. Hope this helps. Take care.

Hello Christie,
I was diagnosed stage 3A adenocarcinoma lung cancer. I had six weeks of daily radiation and weekly chemo (carboplatinum/taxol). I then had surgery, an upper right lobectomy followed by two sessions of the same but a stronger dose of the same chemo. My surgery was in July, 2005. My scans have been clear since. Hope this helps and wishing and praying for the best for you.

Barbara,
I am sorry to read that you have a health problem. It is time now for you to give time and attention to Barbara. Please do take the time that you need to do just that. Give yourself the same kindness, care, patience and attention to detail that you gave to Bill. I will be here praying for you.

I was staged 3A. I had daily radiation and weekly chemo (carboplatinum/taxol) for six weeks. I had very good results from that treatment and was able to have surgery. My surgery was in July, 2005. My scans have been clean since. Hope this helps.
