  9. Thank you all for your concern and prayers. The Chief of Radiology at Kaiser went over my films and assured me that nothing new shows on the scans to be concerned about. He said that what is there is most likely scar tissue, and that there is nothing new there since my last scan in October. I truly thank God. More time and attention needs to be given to writing ct scan reports that are not contradictory and confusing. Carol

My nurses were wonderful. From the oncology nurse at the clinic to the nurses in ICU they were WONDERFUL!!! I am so thankful to God for them.
  12. I am so sorry to hear this. Because Leslie went to get checked for her headaches she found out that she had brain mets and was just horrified. Nonetheless she immediately started the fight to win against this horrible disease. Because of Leslie I requested a brain scan which came out okay. I pray that this is just a temporary set back for Leslie and that she will continue to fight this awful disease. My prayers are with you Leslie. I HATE THIS DISEASE!!!

  17. I had an upper right lobectomy. I was staged 3A.I had chemo and radiation concurrently before surgery. At surgery I had 20 lymph nodes removed. None had cancer and all margins were clear. I had the adjuvant chemo which was two rounds 3 weeks apart. I did lose my hair and was had aches from the third to about the fifth day after each session. The chemo after surgery was much stronger than the chemo I had before surgery. I did not lose my hair or get sick with the pre surgery chemo.
