My surgeon called yesterday. He said that my biopsy results are not final. At this point the pathologist does not think that the nodule is cancerous. He also told me that he is leaning towards giving me a surgery date. PLEASE continue to pray for me and everyone. WHEN PRAISES GOD UP, BLESSINGS COME DOWN.

I am waiting to hear from the doctor any moment about my biopsy results. The results were not in yesterday. I am hoping they will be in today. Thank you for caring and for your support. I will let you know as soon as I know. I remain hopeful and prayerful. Carol

I can not impress upon you how important it is to stay well hydrated. Never be without a bottle of water. It really does help. It helped me. God Bless You.

I will have a biopsy on that left lung nodule that lit up on my last PET scan on Thursday. I don't have to tell you how nerve wracking this is. PLEASE say a prayer for me. If the nodule is not cancer then I will have to have the lymph nodes biopsied. If they do not show active cancer I will have the right upper lung lobectomy, otherwise I will be treated with chemo and radiation.

Jim, Do not feel guilty. As a matter of fact your post is such good news to so many people. Do you realize the hope that your words have just given to so many Stage 4 survivors. It says 'I CAN LIVE". Thank you.

My surgeon just called. He said that he wants to do a biopsy of the nodule in my left lung that lit up on this last PET scan. If it is not cancerous he will proceed to biopsy the lymph nodes that were infected. If they show active cancer he is not going to do surgery. I would be treated with chemo and radiation. If they show inflamation then he will do the lobectomy.

I thought that I would have had the answer by now. My doctor was consulting with some other doctors. So I am back in the 'Hurry Up and Wait Club'. Hopefully I will know something Monday. He is trying to avoid me having to do a needle biopsy if at all possible, but it may come to that. Thank you so much for your prayers. I truly am trying to stay stron, positive and sane.

Yes, Jesus IS still in the healing business. PLEASE pray for me as I pray for ALL OF US. I KNOW that he can and will heal my body for I have reached out to touch the hem of his garment in prayer.

I am very grateful to you for this information. I cannot find the words to say thank you. I am waiting for my doctor to let me know what is going on with this nodule and I am holding on to Faith that it is not cancerous so that I can have my surgery and become cancer free. God Bless you!!!

Thank you again for your reply Connie. I knew that non cancerous nodules could pop up but I did not know that they could light up on the Pet scan and still be non cancerous. You have given me a lot of relief as I wait to hear from my doctor. I will let you know as soon as I know. God Bless you!!!
