  1. Hello everyone, It was over a month that I had posted for the first time. I wanted to thank you all the members that responded to my first post. As I mentioned on my first posting I had issues with Alecensa in regards of fluid retention not just on my lower extremities but also my stomach, lung and heart area. On April 1st I went to ER and admitted to the hospital for Cardiac Tampomade. The next day they did a Pericardiocentesis to remove fluid from the sac that surrounds the heart. This was an emergency procedure. They kept me at the hospital for 6 days. I had followed up with my primary Doctor and Oncology, the Echocardiogram and X-Ray showing the effusions have resolved. It was a scary experience and most of all I was very afraid to go to the hospital due to the COVID-19 specially CA one of the states with most Positive cases. I am so glad that I did it and thank full with the staff at UCSD, the Doctors and the nurses that took care of me while I was at the hospital. God bless them all specially with this stressful time with this pandemic. Blessings to all and I thank you for letting me share, Guicho😀
  2. I am a 62 years old Mexican male diagnosed on 2-2020 with Lung Cancer IV (Adenocarcinoma) Last week, I started oral treatment with Alecensa. The side effects are swelling in my feet and ankles. My cough have decreased and I am able to sleep much better at nights. I live in San Diego CA. I like to find support groups in San Diego in English-Spanish but not required. Thank you!
