Good afternoon everyone ☺️!! I just came back from my 3 month oncology follow up. Dr looked over chest X-ray said nothing suspicious. He’s going to order 6 month CT for September/October. I told him I’m still having severe incision pain he looked at incision and said a keloid has formed 😩. He explained it’s common in African Americans. He said he would refer me to a plastic surgeon. He said however there’s a chance of it recurring he said to reduce it from recurring he said low dose of radiation right after having it removed. I told him I would think about. 😒 Has anyone had to deal with keloids? ☺️💕

Hello everyone 👋🏾 it’s been 9 months since my Bilobectomy. I’m still having pain/discomfort at the incision site. I know everyone heals differently it appears I’m a little slower.🫤 I still can’t sleep on my back even wearing a bra causes discomfort 😩. Oncologist and PC ruled out keloid(which is common in darker skinned). I had a lidocaine injection but it didn’t help. Also was given cream to help with the itching. I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks ☺️ 💕
