  1. Thanks so much ! I have tried acupuncture but will definitely mention cymbalta to my care team I really appreciate your response Thanks again RT
  2. Greetings Has anyone encountered significant neuropathic foot or lower extremity pain while on Tagrisso? I am on a double dose (160) as I have meningeal involvement. My brain MRI has improved, and I do not have evidence of spinal disease- so it seems that this could be related to Tagrisso. My oncologist has had one patient with similar pains (but not quite "nerve pain"). Anyway- I thought I would check and see if anyone else has encountered similar symptoms (I could not find anything in pub med or any case reports). I am having right foot pain- sometimes with pins and needles, other times a dull ache. I get some relief at night with neurontin and sometimes ambien to help with sleep. It then recurs during the day and I am getting to my wits end. Otherwise I am still working and getting through the day but it is getting harder and harder. Thanks in advance RT
  3. Thanks all for the welcomes and well wishes !
  4. I recently was diagnosed - out of the blue (and hopefully not into the black). No symptoms until my brief episode and was very quickly diagnosed via a CT guided lung biopsy. I have an EGFR + lung cancer with some spread to the lining of the brain (leptomeningeal enhancement) which was diagnoses after a brief episode of aphasia (difficulty finding my words). I feel ok now - the episode which was transient and I have no symptoms now. I finished my first week of osimiternib (which I am sure I will misspell more than once) and am really starting this journey. I am 54 , otherwise healthy and working to adjust to this new normal. Still a little shell shocked but I am blessed to have such great support from my family, friends and colleagues and am glad to have found this group. I hope to do whatever I can , in any way, as I navigate this illness, to help anyone else out there who I can because I know that all the words of encouragement, prayers , thoughts have made a world of difference for me. Thanks RT
