I lost a lifelong mentor to lung cancer, and it is world shattering. Grieving is already so hard, and the loss of someone so kind feels bigger than anything. How do you go on with life without the guidance of the only person who was always there for you?

Hi everyone. I've been a long time reader of the forums but haven't yet posted until now. A dear friend of mine for nearly half my life was diagnosed with lung cancer a while back, and recently passed away. While I didn't know much regarding details of her disease, I wanted to join the community to share with others experiences of grieving. It's heartening to see how people here have lived with lung cancer. I know my friend lived with it for a long time, and lived well. Many thanks for having me.
