Thanks Tom That is what I find strange, that I don’t have any nasal or sinus symptoms, despite the doctors treating it like the cause. They haven’t taken it seriously because I haven’t been coughing, just clearing phlegm. I will press for the scan. Thanks again, Sue

I’ve had two clear chest X-rays in the past few years for phlegm that builds up in my throat. Very little coughing, but clearing my throat often. I’ll especially lose my voice while talking until I clear it. I’ve been prescribed various things including neti pot rinses, antacids and nasal steroids. It has progressed and now the phlegm is persistent all day. A chest CT has now been suggested. Has anyone had these symptoms?
