Hello everyone, Thanks for all your messages welcoming me to the board. My mum is 53 always been healthy (looked after me all my life infact I was born with a rare illness) She's been ever so sick this year with broncitis phneumonia and infections and flutterings of the heart, and about 2 weeks ago is when we found out she had small cell lung cancer, the cancer is in the right lung, liver, under the ribs, back, legs, hips, bones. fluid around the heart. She's having radiation treatment at the moment, the doctors think she is not quite strong enough for chemotherapy. She is staying very strong and positive and so are all of the family, we know she will fight this and get through it. Love Julie

Hi Rochelle, thanks for you message. my mum has had 3 days of radiation treatment so far. The doctors are not quite sure just yet if my mum is strong enough for chemotherapy. Love Julie
