Hi Marian - If you can't get a dr. appointment immediately, I would suggest going to the ER. They'll do a chest x-ray there, and if anything is found, they may be able to schedule other tests (PET, CT, MRI) before you are discharged. Praying for the best. Trish

I wish surgery was an option for me. From what I've read, the surgery isn't pretty but the result is worth it. Good luck. Trish
