  9. Hi Friends My dad went for his chemo on friday and mentioned a rash that he has to the chemo nurse, they then informed us its an allergic reaction to the chemo so he cant have it. Damn. He has got to go back to see onc on the 6th September to discuss a different form of chemo or a lower dose. Dad now wishes he hadnt said anything because he had only got 2 more cycles to go!!! Anybody have any encouraging comments, we are all down hearted now more time passes without treatment, how much bigger is this monster getting while the treatment stops. What other chemo is good out there he was on gem and carbo. Sorry for the long post feel slightly better for ranting Love and Light Donna

  22. Can I ask a question too Dad is to have 4 cycles of chemo he has had 2 now, do they scan him before he finishes all cycles or would they have a look now? I`m so praying that its shrunk the beast Donna
  23. Hi Thanks for replying and yes you are right there will never be enough time with my dad.. I want dad to be here forever and ever and I know its not going to happen, I`m going to do like you said so mine and dad`s goal is to see Chelsea go to school on september the 6th... I`m 29 years old and feel like I`m about 14, dad isnt any older to me he`s still the same as he always was, its hard to take him having cancer cause I can see the effects of it on him.. Would it be wrong to say I wanted dad to die of old age peacefully in his sleep? Donna
