    Lost my Mom

    I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. What a fighter she was -- she certainly had a will to live. My sincere condolences. gail p-m

  16. I am speechless. I can't believe it. Your family has gone through enough and now this --- i'm so sorry. Sending many prayers. Wish i could do more. gail p-m
  17. My father lived almost 6 years after diagnosis. He saw his younger daughter and first grandchild get married and he got to London, Paris and Rome. He also was able to live independently and take complete care of himself right up to the last two months -- cooked, shopped, enjoyed Starbucks visits, his Netflix... In the end, he really fought dying. He did not want to "go". Was it worth the treatments to my Dad? Yes, without a doubt. gail p-m

  23. YES!!! Our municipality only allows us to put out 2 gabage cans a week. When all the kids were home, there were 6 of us. Had to recycle or??? We recycle paper, newspaper, cardboard, soup cans... Also teach an environment unit in school and focus on the 3 R's so I'd better practice what I preach. gail p-m
