    I'm Buyin'

Always like to hear news like this! Congrats and celebrate. gail p-m
  2. Sorry to hear about that sleeping bladder and all the discomfort you're having to go through. You take care of yourself and perhaps not too many Bud Lites until the bladder wakes up and then the celebration will begin. gail p-m
  3. Andrea, I left my home to care for my father on June 22. Then my Dad passsed 6 weeks later on Aug. 1st. I also had to put down my dog (whom I very dearly loved) just 2 weeks ago. I have been totally exhausted and I mean that, more tired than I've been in my whole life. I often have difficulty sleeping and on the few occasions where I do get a good night's sleep, I'm still very tired. I keep thinking I should go back to my fitness center to try to get into shape again and have more energy but I'm simply too tired to do so. Take care of yourself Andrea. You have a lot on your plate right now and need any and all "treats' you can give yourself. gail p-m
  4. Kasey-- Congrats on your 2 years of survivorship. We understand the significance of that accomplishment. As you know, this is a very special place, full of special people who share a special bond. Many will never understand but we always will and will be here for you just as you will be here for us. Glad to have you back. gail p-m

I was so sorry to hear about JimBen. He was a fighter. Each time he got knocked down by the 'beast", he geared up for yet again another battle. He didn't give up. gail p-m

  15. Don, Just got on the website and went to look for good news for Lucie. I'm so sorry that things haven't improved for her. I will continue to keep Lucie in my thoughts and prayers. As for you, I so totally agree with others -- reverse roles and let your children be "there" for you. I'm sure they want the opportunity. (((Don))) gail p-m

  19. I was on my way to work when I heard that the FAA had grounded all flights. For a moment, I thought there was some sort of catastrophic radar failure. Then I heard about the Twin Towers. i immediately wondered if my brother and his son were safe cause my brother works in the vicinity and my nephew goes to school near there. Here I was in B.C. Tried calling my father repeatedly to check up on my relatives when I got to work but couldn't get through. Then the kids were coming to school. So I asked my husband to keep calling and he called me a while later and told me they were okay. My brother was on his way to a meeting a couple of blocks from the Twwin Towers and had just come up from a subway to see people racing -the other way -- and hearing police tellling people to get out of the city. My nephew actually saw people jumping from the Twin Towers. Needless to say, he had some heavy emotions to deal with for awhile. A couple of years later, he was interviewed on Dateline about his experience. So there's my story of Sept. 11th. Was I glad to get home that day! gail p-m
