Nick- I too have recently lost my Mother and can relate to feeling alone. Even though I have loved ones around me, supporting me, including my wonderful husband, I can't help but feeling alone. There is no other word for it. I hope today is a better day for you. Sarah

Cathy- I just had my second wedding anniversary on the 10/30. This was the first event/milestone since my mother;s passing. It was an awful day. I am so sorry for your pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sarah

Hello All- I am curious if any of you have experience launching a run/walk in your community. I recently lost my Mother to Lung Cancer and I needing on outlet to make the public aware of this horrible disease. I live in Providence, RI and there are no run/walks for Lung Cancer in the state. Does anyone have any advice about starting one from the ground up? Sarah

Hello Everyone, My mother passed away from lung cancer this past September after receiving her diagnosis in July of 2006. She was 63 years old and my best friend. I have a wonderful support system but am having a very difficult time still believing that she is gone. My hope is that these boards will provide some comfort. Sarah
