Hi Katie - Deanne is a fab lady who works tirelessly for Lung Cancer issues in UK. She is a remarkable woman with great strength of character. Her husband Jimmy does too, and they dont just speak out for themselves they do it for all of us here in UK. They also run a website here in UK which gives help,support and comfort to those of us whose lives are blighted by this terrible disease. We are so delighted that Randy has joined us too. Dawn x

My dad has a rash which is tolerable but gets ingrown toe nails which become infected and require antibiotics. Dawn

Deanne and Jimmy have been treated apallingly - the NHS are causing them so much extra stress at a time they could well do without it. I am so horrified at what they are having to suffer. Via their website they have helped so many people and now they are being victimised - it is so unfair. Thinking of you both - and right behind you. Dawn xxxx

Hi Kaneohgirl,I understand what you mean. This journey is such a rollercoaster of emotion. I sometimes can feel myself not wanting to think that things are looking great as I dont want to be plunged back into the despair of treatments not working for Dad etc. I am sometimes scared to allow myself to think 'at last something is working' incase my whole world comes crashing down around me.When I am with my Dad I push him to be positive and wont let him feel despondent tho. Does this make sense !! - I think we all have personal defence mechanisms that we rely on to avoid giving ourselves too much mental trauma and anguish.The mind is a weird and wonderful thing and we are all individuals who cope in different ways. You are not going crazy so don't worry about any feelings you have at this time.Thinking of you. Love Dawn
