  1. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm NED after three years. I'm not bragging just want to give encouragement, especially the Stage 3B who have had surgery.
  2. Yes, I had 4 cycles of Carboplatin and Taxotere
  3. Hi All - Just wanted to share the fact that I have had another NED scan, this puts me at the two year mile marker! The first time I went to my oncologist he said to me "You're not going to survive this". I became determined to prove that man wrong! Don't give up doctors do not know everything.
  4. Just wanted to share my news!! Dx 11/06 with Adeno. LC Stage 3B. Cat Scan of Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis...is NED!!!!!
  5. Thanks for your help, I think it is from the Chemo also, my oncologist said it was not from Chemo. Glad to see you're still doing so well. I'm a T4N0M0, so it does my soul good to see someone else doing well that was dx before me.
  6. Thanks for your reply. You made me feel a lot better not only about your nasal passages, but also your continued health. May you always be NED. Thanks, Colleen
  7. Has anyone experienced dry nasal passages in the morning. I use a saline solution and it goes away until the next day. However, yesterday morning there was blood when I blew my nose. I finished all treatments in April 07. Called oncologist he said not to worry, but I'm worried. I'm afraid of brain tumor since I never had an MRI of the brain. Just wanted to know has anyone else experienced dry nasal passages.
  8. Looking for buddy in Central New Jersey or Eastern Pennsylvania
  9. Hi Ned Yes it was such a relief hearing that one little word "NED". You are correct about more than one nodule in the same lobe making me a Stage 3B. I'm told it represents a high risk for a recurrence. I really have not had much encouragement from my oncologist, but have read several positive articles on the internet about T4N0M0. I actually asked for the chest x-ray myself because I had an upper respiratory infection that was lingering. Never did I think it was cancer. I quit smoking in June of '98 and thought my lungs had healed and was out of the woods as far as LC. Oh well, life is full of surprises, but this is one I wish I did not have to experience. However, I believe every experience has some positive aspects. I'm feeling well and am thankful for that. How about you Ned are you feeling well? I wish you all the best and thanks for writing to me. Colleen
