    She's gone

My beautiful mom passed away Friday August 8th at 12:30 am. My sisters and I were there when she left us, holding her hands. Though it was not peaceful, I am grateful that I was there as her spirit left this world and all the pain behind. She fought with all she had until her last breath. She was and will always be my hero. I will spend the rest of my life missing her and trying to live up to her legacy. Thank you all for your support over the last 15 months. My family and I are so grateful for this site and all the hope and information it provides. May God bless and keep you all. Lisa
  3. (((Randy))) Both of those songs always get me too. I had to leave a store the other day when I heard that Colin Raye song. Also "The Dance" by Garth Brooks and "How can I help you to say goodbye" by Patty Loveless - always tears. Thanks for always being here for everyone. Hope you are remembering to take care of yourself too. Hugs, Lisa
