For my mom, the timeline is just about the same as what Denise said. Usually the pain/achyness begins a day or two after and lasts at 3-5 days. She takes Extra Strength Tylenol or Vicodin for pain control. I don't think it completely relieves the pain but she says it takes the edge off and then some. Also as Denise mentioned, keeping ahead of it by taking something early helps a lot. Lisa

Rochelle, Thanks for the heads up. Thankfully both procedures will be done in the same facility. I will be sure that I stay with her every second that they allow it and will guard those wires! Because the hospital is not our local one, this was all set up by phone, so I was not there to hear everything and not able to ask those kind of questions - but you bet I will when we get there. Has anyone had any experience with this procedure? They are looking into it for my mom as her main tumor is blocking the bronchial tube to her right lung, making breathing difficult. Her left lung is completely clear thankfully. Thanks, Lisa

David Cook should win! He has a powerful and distinctive voice. He has shown tremendous versatility and talent. He seems like a genuine person that many can relate to. I love all kinds of music, but find I am partial to his type of music. I do think David A. has a wonderful voice and a Barry Manilow vibe - which in today's world may not give him staying power. Also, he is so young for all the pressure - he get enough from his dad. Since day one, when he waited to hear the judges opinions he looked like he would pass out or cry at any moment. The industry will eat him alive! Ann - I hope you're right about the judges comments last night. Even if he doesn't win, he will go on to be great. Look at Chris Daughtry. GO DAVID COOK!!!!!
