Hi,, Ive been busy this week with my hubby Dan,, he had his first chemo on monday and so far he isnt having any side effects,,, On wed he had to have a mri of his back (finally a dr listen to him about the back pain wonderful cancer dr we have) , Dan had a broken verabrat inbetoon his shoulders,,,, so off we went to the city where dan was admitted by a new dr,, who also is caring,, dan had surgery on sat,, they put cement in his back,,, HE has non small cell lung cancer and in his lymoph noled in around his windpipe , also 2 places in his back,, Im still POSTIVE,, we have the pacman in there eating up the cancer we are POSTIVE WITH GOOD DRS AND THE LORD,,,, Drs are talking about a "" cyberknife" i have no ideal what this is ??????? I have been so tired out our daughter went to Pittsburgh to bring him home today YAHHHOOOO I have miss him ,,,

FIRST BOSPY WAS DONE BY THE LUNG DR HERE,,, NEXT WE SAW CANCER DR HERE FOR 5 MINS WE HAVE SEEN THE BEST TOP TEN LUNG CANCER DR IN PITTSBURGH TWICE WAITING FOR THE RESULT OF LAST BIOSPY,,, IS THERE EVEN TIME LEFT FOR DAN TO SEE MORE DRS AND MORE OF THE SAME TEST ITS BEEN 2 1/2 MONTHS,,, ALL DRS KEEP SAYING CHEMO , RADIATION AND THEN IF DAN DOES WELL WITH THAT THEN SURGERY AND MORE CHEMO,,, ALL DRS BUT THE FAMILY DR,,

This is the family dr ,, mangering the pain,,, saw a onolgist dr one time for 5 mins he send dan to the surgeon lung cancer dr inhad 9 yrs ago,, who on the 16th did a small open chest biospy and i think (hope) we get the result on the 29th,,, dan had spindle cells cancer 9 yrs ago,, it started on his spine anbd then attach to his lung, ribs, chest wall nerves and muscle,,,, now they say cancer in the lower righ lobe and enlarge chest lymph nodles thet are around his windpipe has cancer in them,,,,,, before he just had surgery and a radaiation mesh strip place and left in forever on his spine,,,,

FAMILY DR CHANGE DAN'S MEDS TODAY FROM 30 MG OF MORPHINE TO 60MG TWICE A DAY ,, STILL ON PEROCET,, MRI ON NOV 5 SEE HEAD LUNG CANCER DR AGIAN ON OCT29,,,,, NOW,, THE DR SAID TODAY,, USALLY ONCE YOU HAVE A CANCER AND U GET A DIFFERENT KIND OF CANCER IN THE SAME AREA,, THERE ISNT MUCH HOPE IS THIS TRUE ????

We know my hubby Dan has lung cancers , been thru chest xrays, pet scans, cat scans,, mri,,, 3 different biospy it has been since aug 19,, and still waiting for the last biospy report , due to go see the head dr on the 29th,, In the meantime Dan is really suffering with cancer pain,,,, he is on pecoet 4 times a day amd morphine 2 times a day.. he cant move much,,, How much waiting and suffering is my sweet hubby supose to handle ?? We and others are praying every day,,,

Dan had his 3rd biospy yesterday a small open chest,, Go back to see the Dr on Oct 29,, Maybe we will know then what kind of lung cancer and what kind of chemo , how long also if radiation also,, This has been a very long 2 months since Aug 19 will be found out cancer had return ..

Thank you,,,, I really feel helpless I do whatever I can to help Dan and ask nothing of him,,, I feel very lonely,,

Dan is now on percent and morpihne,, It hurts him to even move much,,, His breathing sounds so bad and he looks gray,,, Goes Tues for a open chest biospy,, it has been 2 months and still no answer to what kind of lung cancer,, We hope to know by the end of Oct

Many thanks for the repies and telling me to hang on,,,, It is very hard here we live 30 mins from our daughter (s--i-l and now 6 grandgirls) our son lives in NC we arepretty much alone here,, ECEPT for a very nosy and a pest of a landlady,,,,,,, I do everything at this point and im happy too dan has been the love of my life for 38 yrs,,,,, I had a shot in my back yesterday and it made me go numb from my wasist to my feet couldnt move for over and hr , bad headache,, so lol lol i did get to lay down for 1 hour,,, thanks everyone for letting yak on here

Hello,, we saw the lung cancer Dr at shadyside hosptial / hillman cancer center,, If dan 's heart dr says yes dan will have a open chest biospy done on the 16th,, The lymph noles around his wind pipe is enlarge and cancer is there also a lession lower right lung,,, Look like it will be chemo and maybe radiation once they firgure out the name of the cancer,, He doesnt think it is the spindle cell cancer came back,,,,,,, So it will be another month before we know anything,, it will be over 2 months then as when we started doing all the test and drs,,, Im so tired out I just want to sob but cant,,, Thanks for being here

thank you ,, its is either cut the mass and the tumor out or lets get started on radiation and / or chemo but we want something done as ap,, been 6 weeks

Taking hubby Dan to see top lung and cancer DR in Pittsburgh we had him 9 yrs ago,,,, Path report wasnt enought sample agian to tell what kind of cancer just its lung cancer,,,, Sure hope we get some answers soon ,, I cant sleep cant relax,,,,

We didnt find out much today,, mri ,, pet scan and a bone scan all will done and over with by next tues,, oct 1 we go see the surgery we saw 9 yrs ago for dan cancer in Pittsburgh,,, What does stage 3 b mean ????

We are starting out once agian with my hubby and cancer,, He had cancer 9 yrs ago,, Now face with lung cancer,, QUESTION ,, Can we get all cat scan, biospy , biospy reports (on paper) if so who do we ask for them ? Are we allow them for our files ?... Also Im new to computer ,, how does everyone put all their info on the bottom of your post ? Many thanks

Hello My hubby had a spindle cell cancer mass in to his spine right lower lung, 5 ribs . chest walls and nerves 9 yrs ago,, With a yearly cat scan ,, this one in Aug 07,, and a biospy on the new lessions yes there is lung cancer,, Will see the cancer dr on wed the 19th,,, Looks like we are gfacing something new here,, also he has enlarge chest lymph nodes,, Ant adivce on what question to ask ?
