  1. Prayers are on the way from Riverside, CA. Wishing all the best.
  2. Hi Denise. I too am glad you found this site. It is wonderful. I am a new member too. I am sorry to hear you were diagnosed with this but your attitude sounds wonderful. Keep that up. Alwya fight with everything you have in you. That is what I am doing. We will not let this get the better of us, no way. Good luck with the treatment and I will pray that your tumor shrinks. My hair fell out too and when it started to fall out I went and had it shaved off. Now I like my bald look and my husband lovingly calls me baldy. LOL.
  3. Welcome Carolyn. This board is wonderful. I am a new member myself and really like all the advice and stories I read on here. I am sorry your dad was diagnosed with lung cancer but you just tell him to fight it and fight it with all he has in him. That is what I am doing. Never give up.

Just talked to my Oncologist and he is starting me on Neurontin so hopefully that will help the neuropathy.

    Neuropathy

Thank you so much for the replies. I will call my doctor tomorrow and see what he can do for me in regards to some meds to help the neuropathy. I will also go see if I can find some SAS shoes in my area.

    Neuropathy

I really suffer with neuropathy in my feet and my hands, it is to the point where I have a hard time standing up or walking. My feet hurt so much that I sit down a lot with my feet propped up. My doctor told me to take vitamin B6 because that sometimes helps and the same with liporic acid. I have been taking them both for quite a while, months, but it is not getting better. Does any of you have any other suggestions because I am willing to try just about anything at this point.
  7. Thank you so very much for all the warm welcome. I really appreciate it. This seems like a very wonderful and supportive group.
  8. Hi. My name is Kaja and I am from Southern California. I was diagnosed with non operable NSCLC stage 3B back in June. Tumor was 4.7 cm in my left lung and luckily it has not spread to anywhere else in my body. I went thru 5 chemo treatments first and then 7 weeks of radiation with chemo once a week. Just had the last weekly chemo yesterday and 3 more radiation treatments and I will be done this time around. I am so happy I found this site. Been looking for something like this for a long time.
