I got a call from Rich's daughter Tina that he was taken back into the hospital today by ambulance. Please send him all your good thoughts, wishes, prayers, and voodoo for getting to the bottom of his health issues.
I will let you know when I hear more.

I suppose this is a good excuse for a pass. I hope you get through all your father of the bride (you've seen that movie, right?) duties and the day goes well. BTW... you would think it would be hard to get over the border in a huge bus but they let us right through.
Best wishes for a wonderful day~

Chris,
I am so glad you like the hospice workers. Their job is also to be there for your mom and support her, so I hope that will help with the reality of it all. I hope all goes well and he gets settled in.

Dos Equis Lager with lime please Fred-- it's my favorite summer beer. Here's to Muriel-- good to see you Fred. We've missed your bad I mean we've missed your jokes.

Congratulations Muriel-- I'll drink to that!

Don-
I am so glad you are out of the hospital. John had a chemo leak into his arm on his second chemo-- it was horrible-- he had to have about 12 shots around the site to neutralize it. After that he had his port put in. Is there any reason you're getting a picc line instead of a port? The port is much easier to care for and the risk of infection is less.

Bruce, Bruce, Bruce... us Michiganders know how to pronounce eh and exactly where it goes in the sentence. I mean it's only an hour to the Canadian border, eh. Believe me, I'll pass.

Bruce....all I have to say is now you know why you never ever mess with Muriel. The woman will clean your clock-- and attend the wedding. You do understand the phrase "clean your clock" in Canada right? Just wondering if we have to explain that one. The bus is coming...you cannot stop us, we've already picked up Patti.

Welcome- many members here have had good luck at CTCA-- I hope things go well.

Rats. It's hard when you 've had success to go to a new drug. I hope that Alimta does the trick.

It turns out the big guy has an infection that went to his blood and he is septic. They started IV antibiotics and he will be in intensive care for a little while. Hopefully he will kick this soon.
