  1. Agent- Read this board all you can. I just lost my Mom, this disease progresses so fast, I can't believe how quickly we went from diagnosis to where I am now. I wish I had more to offer, I am still so in shock over the whole thing. All I can say is my heart goes out to you and your Mom. Make every moment count now.
  2. jmills- I am glad you are with her now. I went through this with my Mom too. She had two sessions of chemo, each three days in a row. After each one she got very sick for one reason or another. She ended up in the hospital with a urinary tract infection once and a very high fever the next time. She decided that was enough. The Onc. said that was OK but we'd keep an eye on her cell counts through blood work. Her last treatment was in mid-July. Mid Sept, her blood work was great, very good results. She died six weeks later on 1st of November. When this disease takes off it happens very fast. Make each moment count.
  3. I just want to say thank you to all of you for posting. I am finding the weeks after Mom's death to be difficult in a new sort of way than living with her sick had been, equally as hard though.
  4. I wish I had found this site 8 months ago. Mom, Audrey, was diagnosed in March and died on my birthday, November 1st, 2007 at age 65. Now that it is over, I am looking around and I don't know what to do now. I began searching online and found this site. I am hurting bad right now, I cannot believe how fast Mom was taken.
