Sandra I had cancer twice, Hodgkins 30 years ago and breast cancer 5 years ago..trust me after some time goes by you wont think about it as much at all. I about drove myself insane always thinking about it 24/7. Hang in there it gets better.

I started cutting him back yesterday, only by one pill...3 a day instead of 4 then next week he gets down to 2 day on and on... Today he is already tired and feeling down... wow what a nasty drug for sure... he was always biting my head off.

I have a question... Has anyone been on Decadron (dexamethasone) ? My hubby has been on it for about 2 weeks now and he has been soooooooo cranky so I was wondering if others had that problem... He is getting cut back starting Monday (thank goodness) so I'm HOPING that's what is making him so mean .. He is not the man I know.

So sorry you have to even be here but this site is great and keeps me upbeat. My hubby was also very healthy, never been sick in his 56 years of life and I truely feel that will help him be a long term survivor and I'm psoitive that will be your husbands case as well.... Well my hubby talked with his Doctor and he said his 2 small tumors should respond just fine with radiation, he feels it's just a bump in the road and that my hubby is doing great, he looks great and his weight gain is wonderful. the doc was very positive. He said he has no worry about the 2 week delay on his Chemo..Hubby has 10 radiation treatments then goes back for 2 more round of chemo...I'm pray all this goes well for him.
