  1. (((Randy))). Hope you are remembering only happy memories.
  2. Hi Ladies (no gentlemen here today), Janet, I always laugh and say I have plastic cup syndrome. I can't go enough in one of those cups to do any sort of test, but like you I suffer from that old Irish disease, TB. Stands for tiny bladder. I don't kmow if you are Irish or not, it is just what we called it. I put up way too many Christmas decorations this year because I was having a big party. I took pictures and next year I am just going to hang up the pictures, LOL. Judy MI definitely sounds like she is moving in the right direction and Randy sounds like he is being her knight in shining armor. Janet, you must be thrilled your son has finally gotten a job. It is really tough the kids today.
  3. Hooray for Jamie. This is terrific news. Here's to the next 7.
  4. Judy, I also wish it is a dream. Hoping you get a handle on the right treatment plan. Just sucks you have to travel this road again. Prayers, many of them.
  5. Judy, what a bummer, hope you are in a private room by now and I hope that all this discomfort has an end result of good news.

7 Anniversaries of good news, keep 'em coming.
  7. Have seen Jersey Boys 2x. Loved it both times. Lots of energy and I know the words to the songs.
  8. Still have the cold, but the goods news is I am glad I am going to live. Even did a load of wash last night and you all know how tough it is to load the washer and turn it on. It was 14 degrees when I left for work this a.m. but it had warmed to 16 by the time I got here. Supposed to be up to 50 by Saturday. Just booked a bus trip to see Book of Mormon on Broadway for next September and got the next to the last seat on the bus. Judy, even though I am sure you are used to Stan being on the road, it is always tough to see them go and you being alone. Earl was away one night a week at a customers. I always turned the perimeter lights on when he was away. House was totally lit up. Earl said it was like putting a neon sign on the lawn, saying "Husband away, burglars welcome". Back to work.
  9. My son's favorite meal is beef stew with dumplings and I too did the Bisquick recipe. Sometimes they were too moist on the bottom, but I like doughy anything. Had to make that meal for every bday and now his wife does it. Funny how these things take hold. Holidays were way too busy and I threw myself a bday party last friday for 30 of my friends. As soon as they all left I got the rocking pneumonia and the boogie woogie blues. In work today, but I am buying stock in Kimberly Clark. I feel miserable. Eric, I can't keep up with you. Diane, love the new picture. Freezing cold and windy here today. Very mild December so this is a shocker. Have to start dedecorating (is this a word)? Love to put them up, love to look at them, hate to dedecorate. Back to work.
  10. YooHoo, my grandson got accepted for early admission to Bucknell. He is over the top and I am so happy for him. Didn't have a clue what to get most on my Christmas list and than out of the blue the present angel whispered in my ear and now I am almost done. YooHoo two! YooHoo three, had my annual physical last week and am fortunate to be one healthy old lady. Dr. said I could try going off my statin, but I think I am going to stay on since there are so many good things they do for you. Going to do the research. Judy, it is cold as you know what here today, so I have on a nice warm sweater, what a joy. Am working 1/2 day today and 1/2 day tomorrow instead on all day tuesday. Having lunch with the 'bison babes' today and my fall golf league luncheon is tomorrow. I am probably going to look like a Christmas moose before the holidays are over. Site is quiet lately.
  11. Judy J, I am only getting good vibes about your dr's appt today. But just in case, I'm saying a prayer and crossing a bunch of stuff.
  12. Very tough to lose a Mother. You will hear her voice for years to come as you face each decision in your life. I wish you and your Dad peace and strength in the coming times.
  13. I'll open. Is everyone knee deep in the kitchen today? I go to my daughters tomorrow, there will be 17 of us, big table. I am taking Emeril Lagasse's twice baked potato casserole, it is a tradition that I bring that. It is delicious. Just google it to get the recipe. A woman from the food chanel was asked what she takes as a hostess give. She said 'a side dish or dessert and the cookbook from which the recipe came'. What a great idea. Got on Amazon and they had Emeril's Potluck cookbook in stock and would ship it next day air for only $3.99. What a deal and I will have it today. What is everyone doing tomorrow? Thankful for? My family and my friends. Still be able to work parttime. GOLF, of course. I am playing 9 holes tomorrow morning in a turkey tournament. Our weather here in PA has been unbelievably warm for Nov. which makes me happy, lower utility bills and more GOLF. I hope everyone is feeling well and can enjoy tomorrow.
  14. Wow, Brandon's blue eyes, you have to fall in love with him. Beth, it is great to see you and especially to see you happy. Keep in touch, once part of our family, always a family member.
  15. Ok I am here. Where is everybody? I love fb, but this is a very different type of forum, much easier to keep up with everyone. What's up in my life. Had a guy that buys gold come to my house, let us just say I am buying a new tv. Happy, happy, happy. Saw J. Edgar. Interesting historically, but boring. Makeup was very obvious and the crowd scenes were obviously digital. Disappointing. Going to see Descendants this weekend. Who watches the Good Wife? I love the writing on that show, so bright. DWTS, I am a bleeding heart, so of course I am routing for JR. Couldn't vote for a 'K' person if my life depended on it. Although he has really improved. And I like Ricki but while I think she dances well I just find that something is missing. What are your feelings? Just found out that another girl I went to high school with has lc. Will it never end. She is a health nut, food wise and is out hiking in the mountains out west all the time. No, she has not smoked for a very, very long time. Gotta go back to work.
  16. We all know Barb. Congrats to the newlyweds.
  17. Judy I have one word for you, hotel.
  18. Judy MI, I am so glad you have returned, you were very missed. You are not allowed to go away ever again and I very much enjoyed talking with you. Judy KW, I only work 2 days, just enough to pay for my golf and out to dinner. I usually only post on work days because my laptop was going crazy, cursor skipping all over the place. It was torturous to type, had to do 1 finger typing. Took it to Best Buy today and they disabled my touch pad, so I now use a mouse. Seems to have fixed the problem. At first they said I would need to leave it there. I developed heart palpitations. I CAN NOT BE W/O A COMPUTER. My desktop died and I am tethered to this darn small box. Went to Colleen's funeral last Saturday. Sad, sad, sad. And it makes me mad, mad, mad. LC should be getting the publicity and funding that it deserves. I don't think that Colleen was ever not on some form of chemo for 5 years. She fought a valiant fight and showed her little Jack such love and courage. Off to cook dinner.
  19. Geri, I am always glad to see you here. How are you doing? I hope well. I do remember the ??? and dew. What the heck was it with the dew?
  20. The only hunting I have ever done was looking through the clearance racks at Marshalls.
  21. http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?secti ... id=8418340 Check this out. We are moving forward.
  22. Another cyberknife miracle, great news.
