Thanks for the message. Fay has been an icon on this board and a role model and inspiration to many. She is one of the kindest woman I have ever known and has provided me with a great deal of comfort on many occasions when I didn't quite know where to turn. I noticed in your post that you have followed the macrobiotic diet for 8 months and that you are getting all of your vitamins from your whole food sources. I hear so much about that diet, and if you are up to it, I would love to read some posts about your adventures in following that plan. I also want to wish you continued luck and success on your next hundred scans. Keep up the good work! Lisa

My onc also didn't want too many antioxidan't while on chemo, and I have heard many warnings about the mushrooms while on chemo so I am glad your doc is in the loop. I wish you the best. Lisa

This is fascinating. I have had tremendous luck with celebrex and Iressa. My Oncologist does believe that oral drugs may also be the next step due to growth rate of BAC.

I too would agree that although it is likely nothing to worry about, it can't hurt to ask to move the CT up to three or four months from now. It would certainly alleviate some of your stress. Lisa
