Hi everyone, Today is Dec 11. Typically books are shipped media mail, which can take from 3-14 days depending where you live. Since holidays are approaching, if you place an order that you need as a holiday gift, please PM or e-mail me at andreascheff@adelphia.net so we can figure price and do priority mail shipping to ensure arrival. Of course I think these books should be given all year round, not just holiday time

I obsess over it. I worry about every ache, bump, lump, etc. We are expecting twins and I said to my husband last weekend "if no one passed away, what age do we start taking them to Disneyland?". I don't think "normal" people think like that.

Katie's analysis sounds logicl. I guess sometimes a dream is just a dream, but I often find meaning in them. Last night I had a very disturbing dream actually, I was getting married, Brian collapsed, I was fighting with the hospital, then something happened to my mom, and somehow we were at UCLA hospital and other weird stuff. I often find when something is bothering me, I dream about stuff. Like if work is annoying, I have a work dream, etc. I hope you have a peacefu sweet dream soon!

I ordered my mom a few hair things from http://www.tlcdirect.org/ and I also got her Nioxin shampoo. Although my mom did not lose all of her hair, she had gemzar/carbo. As others said, my mom said water is the best thing. It is soooo scary at first. I honestly made calls to see if I could have private ambulances on call to take my mom to the hospital b/c the one we use is not the local one, I envisioned her needing a bed downstairs, etc. However, looking back, in the scheme of things, while chemo was no walk in the picnic, my mom handled it surprisingly well, she hardly lost weight (maybe 20lbs which is not much since she is chubby), and she admitted she thought it would be worse. Also, keep in mind, blood counts can go low during chemo, sometimes the patient needs a small transfusion or needs to skip a visit, etc, etc. Do NOT be alarmed b/c that is NORMAL. I freaked out at that first too

The waiting is so hard. I hope all will be well.

I can't wait to get all the orders. WOOHOO!!!!!! Sheri, I like your idea, but I don't necessarily think we will do a cookbook again next year so fast since some people are getting sick of them I like the idea of a contest though. How about I will send 5 free cookbooks to whomever orders the most (which includes geting their family/friends to order). It will be each person's responsibility to let me know who their friends/family are. So far the top order is tied at 24 books

My mom wouldn't have had it any other way, she loved hers.
