Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there are any survivors of anyone with lung cancer with mets to the brain. Please dont be afraid to be truthful with me because that is what I want. My moma was diagnosed with lung cancer at 72 years of age, she WAS a very healthy 72, other then diabetes until this happened. She had section of the lung removed then 5 weeks later it was back in the lung. It since has spread to the brain and on Nov. 20 she had brain surgery. She is not out of rehab yet so no radiation or chemo has been started. I want to be hopeful but I've been doing my research via the internet. I know all cases are different but do yall know of anyone that has survived this?
