I can't answer your questions but I can tell you that even with lung cancer you can get sick from other things. Try to think positive thoughts. Best of luck with your GI test and hopefully they will find it is GERDS or something else that medicine can reverse. Just wanted to say welcome to the site. Nina

I don't know how to thank you for your prayers. It means the world to me that all of you thought about me and took the time to send your thoughts upward. I did get good news. I am told that I am still a NERD. Who ever thought that NED and NERD would turn out to be such beautiful words. They had my scan mixed up with another one and first reported that I had a kidney tumor..then realized their mistake and took another look. They said I was clear. Talk about a little scare. I still don't feel very well but we'll figure that out soon. I did get a copy of the disc to send to my nephew, who is a radiologist in Nashville. Will really celebrate when I get his reading. Dear friends, After 4 years since my last treatment I am not feeling great so my oncologist wants another scan. It has been since Dec 2005 so I am a little nervous. Please keep me in your prayers. I will know the results on Mon. July 30th. Thanks in advance. Nina
