Hi Everyone, Days are going fast getting closer to surgery date 9/13/10,I really dont know if Im scared yet or just numb, then Chemo not looking foward to be more nausuas then I already am. Still working trying not to think about all this, But really dont help much especially working with doctors. Well just wanted to keep posting and thanx for reading and letting me vent.. Thanx everyone I just came home from surgeons office and found out after my pet scan It is stage 2 ,I scheduled my surgery it will be sept.13,2010 and then chemo ..and from there I go on .I will keep reading and writing here It is great support .I just wish I could see whats ahead of me ..Any ideas??? Hi Everyone I want to stop confusion I am Huggy and hugz didnt remember how I joined, 2 yrs ago I told Dr was almost sure back then , but , after several Dr's and test they told me no i dont have lung cancer just to watch with CT Scans ,Well after this last scan It grew a lil and with a culture They confirmed I do Im so glad I listened and did what I was told ,Now I can do what I need to to get rid of it ..Take care Mary

Hello, So far i passed both test ..stress test scheduled next week and dr offfice is scheduling pet scan hopefully the same day ..CanI ask did anyone collect social security disability after surgery ?? Thanx Take Care

Hi Everyone Just came home from work,Tired My upper back hurts I dont know if its my back or lung , Any way I have 2 DR'S appts tomorrow Gotta get the ball rolling I had my Pulmanary test last week so now I go for the results ,and also cardiologist appt top set up a stress test to see if my heart and lungs are strong enough I'll keep you all posted ..Thanx Hugz Mary

Hi everyone , Thanx for all the encouragement, And knowing there is a place and people that understand ..I had my biopsy 7/710 and was told it was "preliminary squamus cell" and surgery will be the best option as long as i pass all the pre test Which I had one today PFT ABG and a 6 min walk..as far i could understand I passed ,Thanx God Bless MARY

Hi everyone my name is Mary, Now I begin my journey of stage 1 lung cancer, I wont kid anyone Im numb even scared not knowing what to expect ..My surgeon wants to operate if I pass all the test breathing blood gases and 6 min walk?? I was diagnosed Monday 7/12/10..It took 2 1/2 yrs to get this answer after finding 2 nodules in my right upper lobe to small to read after a chest xray.so I had to watch them with CT scans, biopsies.. I hope for support and some lifes lessons living with this .thanx God bless,
