  1. Hi , to you all, Dianne, Judy, Ned, TS, recce, etc sorry if I missed anyone out. Thank you so much for taking the time. A great help to hear from others who have proven statistics wrong. We both, well we all, need to hear success stories to help boost our hope. Give us the strength, sue in particular, to fight on and beat this. It is never over until its over. heart felt thank you to you all. and good luck god bless with your own private battles, may there be many mroe victories. Sue we will beat this and hold each other once again.
  2. Hi I wanted to say a huge and heart felt thank you for your kind words, and encouragement/ I know when Sue and I read them together and saw your stories and that people live longer and prove doctors wrong with stage 3 it gave us a massive boost. Dana the sense of humour re "tell doctors so there" was wonderful made Sue smile something rare at the moment, cant thank you enough. Bud thanks your story is an inspiration, I love that you got back on your bike, I am an ex army triathlalete but got lazy when i left, various reasons. Judy Eric, everyone thanks a million We will both be here for a while. My regiment never gave up, you folks didnt, and neither will we, your support is invaluable, Tony
  3. HI well to clarify, (suentonydragon2 is my partner her posts do mention is) Sue went to oz to see family now since she decided to come home, and before she had chance to travel this hit, now we pray she can get strong enough to travel asap. as she been told stage 3B now not stage 2 and doc said 13 months max. but I try to keep her hope alive, as long as we have breath there is hope. ty for all your kind words god bless and keep the support coming.
  4. hi if there are some stage 3B survivors out there would really appreciate hearing from you, as my partner suentonydragon2 has been diagnosed with it at a nightmare time (is there any other kind?) both her and myself could really benefit from hearing positive results or stories of others. We are both struggling to come to terms with this, Sue especially obviosuly. Good luck and god bless to you all and thanks in advance for taking the time. Tony
  5. Hi sue you know I am here for you. We will fight together and find a way through to make the best of whatever we get. I love you dont give up hope, as long as you have breath there is hope. x
  6. the internet is a blessing and a curse, as i type this I am sat waiting for news, my partner and i were chatting online and she stopped talking, pains in her left hand and left chest, cant beleive this is happening. I have to be strong but god knows its getting harder each minute. but at least I know she knows I am here for her. she knows I love her. just hope her mind and spirit can fight though this and it is nothing major, she only had a double valve replacement days ago then found out stage 2 cancer on lungs as well. pray. god whatever your plan show your hand. have to beleive this is a blip and no more. and have to take solace i was there for her. chersih what time you have, cherish the love, make sure you take each god given chane to let them know you love them. waiting for news is crippling, any wise words welcome sat here alone waiting not knowing this is not easy.
  7. Hi My name is Tony dragon, my partner Sue dragon is also joining. She has just been diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. sadly due to health and circumstances now she is forced to stay with family she was visiting in australia I am stuck in the uk. We will be using this site for support to each other and for ourselves. Our journey has just begun, maybe as we travel down the road to come sharing our story will help and inspire others as we hope to receive support and inspiration from those here already. reading through some of the stories on here has already helped me and i hope it wiwll help sue now I have introduced her to the site. Sue never forget or doubt I love you and I am here for you. you are my dragon queen.
  8. Eric cant thank you enough. your words and from someone who has had your experiences, and reading your story made me cry but gave me strength and hope. such a small word isn't it hope, but lord knows how much that word means to me, how me like others here and allover the world no matter how they suffer, hope is a big help. It is so good to know and hear from someone who proved a doc wrong. You give me hope, courage, and help me feel less alone and defeated. For taking time to help and for your impact I thank you.
  9. Hi, not sure how to do this or where to start. I am not a carer as such neither do I have cancer. My partner, the love of my life is stuck in australia due to health. she has just had a major heart op and found she has stage 2 lung cancer.I cant get out there due to lack of funds and it seems we may never see each other again, she is week from 3 sessions of open heart surgery in the last 10 days and now this. I am a mess but trying to provide support with online chat and phone calls which are financially ruining me. I feel guilty when i need sleep or have to try to do housework which i find i have no desire or drive or energy to do. I have 3 young children from my previous marriage who live with their mum and i see every other weekend and they force me to go on. My love has a teenage daughter in aus with her from a previous marriage. I have not had any support, and am seeking some. any suggestions graciously welcome.
