thank you for your post. I was just told I have lung cancer start treament chmo wed. small cell. I'm 55 yrs old and do not want to go yet. I have three new granddaughters to love. My girls and husband are my support and great. I'm scared but want to fight. we need my support fro lung cancer. I was told I had 1 maybe 2 yrs. I thought and asked the dr if I did not take treatment what then. He said I had 3 months. so I am taking treatments. thanks for you support and post it helps. sharon

My daughter told me to look at this web site. I have just been told I have lung cancer. I start chemo wed 5/11/2011. I'm scared. My girls and husband have been great. My frist dr told me I had 1 maybe2 yrs. eading your story helps me I agree there is not much support for this. I have been thru breast cancer clean 10 years. Now this. I do blame myself I smoked and knew I should quit. Now I have this and quit. my girls and husband are my biggest support friends have come thru too. I havve 3 new granddaughter born last year and want to be around for them. keep talking to me I'm scared and hate putting everything on my family. thank you again. sharon
