A clinical trial is a type of research study that tests how well medical approaches—screening, prevention, diagnosis, or treatment—work in people. Clinical trials can provide access to new approaches to lung cancer patients. However, most lung cancer patients do not participate in clinical trials. Please complete this survey about clinical trials by answering from your personal experience. The survey is 100% anonymous. THANK YOU for your time! If you have a current or previous lung cancer diagnosis, your opinions on the future of lung cancer patient care are important to us! Research studies are currently underway searching for a gene that causes an inherited predisposition to lung cancer. Such information has already had a significant impact on patient care in areas where these genetic risk factors have been established (ex: breast and ovarian cancer). In order to best serve the needs of the lung cancer community who will be directly impacted by the outcome of this research, it is essential to understand the psychosocial factors that are important to the community. Below is a link to an anonymous survey assessing these factors. Anyone with a previous or current lung cancer diagnosis is invited to participate. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/L5CS69V Thank you in advance for your participation!
