The symposium in Chicago was good (and pretty grueling), they managed to bring in basically every big name in lung cancer in the U.S. and abroad to update us on "what's new". When I have a chance I'll try to post some of the more interesting stuff. Surprisingly, not a single update on any of the vaccine trials. Lung cancer treatment and research is definitely headed down the molecular biology path (think Iressa and Avastin), some pretty interesting strategies to attack the beast.
