Remembering Dave
Ry - just saw this - but man oh man you are one blessed family! Having done that, I know there are few things in the world to compare with an international adoption. and to have experienced the miracle of birth after two miracles of adoption - how wonderful! Happy Gotcha Day! Happy Birthday! Karen

Shirl
Just to say that I had adopted two children from abroad as well. My oldest whose 17 now is from Ecuador and my youngest is 11 and from Thailand, both girls. I certainly wouldn't have been without either of them as they've brought me so much joy over the years. I call them my DOUBLE TROUBLE!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU
Ry
Thank you all for your kind wishes. We went out to dinner for a combination arrival day/birthday celebration for the two girls. This past weekend Jillian had a party with a few little girls from kindergarten (what a crew!). She had a ball and Caitlin was a big help in dealing with all of them. Peggy..it is funny, every once in awhile John will say (about kids) "remind me again why we wanted to do this?" Thanks guys Rochelle
Don Wood
Yep that is a common line parents use every now and then about their kids -- "remind me again why this was a good idea". But we continue to love them, even when they grow up to be adults. We are actually very proud of our three. Don
