Anais Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Hello, I've just lost my mother (Dec. 22) and I would like to recommend a good book to woman who lost their mother : Motherless daughters from Hope Edelman. I've done some research and I found her website : http://www.hopeedelman.com/ . You can also read an excerpt of the book from the website. I heard it was translated into 7 languages (it's good for me since I'm a francophone ). I think Curtis read Motherless daughters and has good comments... Happy New Year. Anaïs Quote
stand4hope Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Thanks for recommending the book, Anais. I also opened your website you posted on another thread and saw the beautiful picture of your mom, and you, too. I hope you are getting out tonight or at least bringing in the New Year with friends or family. Happy New Year, Anais! Love, Peggy Quote
kimblanchard Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 I agree this is a good book. I think it is probably more for the daughters than for us dads. But it was well worth a read, and I will probably go back to it again over the years. Curtis Quote
